An exclusive one-of-a-kind creation,
a purse might be hand-painted fabrics or tapestry textured yarn and thread
blends in knit/crochet or weaving. Natural fibers, muted colors (except for
occasional "surprises") and quality ingredients prevail. Unique
closures are

focal point. Drop-thru, button, or bead, they include handcrafted wood, leather,
"Ugly" buttons, prim scrim (primitive scrimshandy) on antler or bone,
vintage pieces, shell, and more.

Fly; Selflap, or Tube Top in AA, or EEE and Painted Piece-cloth
fabric. Fabrics and fibers: silk, linen, wool, cotton and rayon. Attractions:
unusual needlework using pebbles and beads, painting or drawing, burned-in art,
unlikely combos, surprise linings, and custom plaited lanyards to hold it all

Bagamuffins are 1-2 strands knitted approx. 4" wide with raggedy fringes, extra-long plaited shoulder strap, draw string or flap top. Dress-ups=LOTS of beads. Dress-downs=leather details.

A Dress-Up Bagamuffin of slightly larger proportions, (approx. 5"wide). It borrows leather details from the Dress-Down style. Cotton spotlights combine with black silk boucle'. Beads of glass, ceramic, matte, flat-sided and Kate's Ugly pick up the turquoise, yellow and purple highlites in the slubbed cotton thread. Rayon lined. 52" braid and leather lanyard.
