Hand-laced materials include buckskin, nubuck, chap or garment leather in gold or brown (and a few colors are available). Closures are drop-thru, button, or friction draw, and are made of antler, bone, wood, or metal. Painted or burned-in art includes wildlife, script, Native American influenced art (NW, SW, Plains Indian), or pre-historic petroglyphs and pictograph-like symbols.
